4th Grade
Welcome to 4th Grade!
4th grade is a fun place to spend your time!
Prayer is the best way to start our days. We will be praying numerous times throughout the day. 4th graders will be assisting in planning Masses and prayer services various times throughout the year. The 4th grade class prepares the Veterans Day prayer service each year and the Gifts from the Heart service project at Christmas time as well.
Reading is an important part of the 4th grade day as well. Your teacher will read to you during the day, you will have time to read on your own as well. Accelerated Reader is used throughout the school.
Math is made fun by lots of hands-on learning. We will be focusing on problem solving, data analysis, and many other areas of mathematics.
We will be doing many different projects throughout the year including state projects as we “travel” through all the states in the United States to learn about geography, climate, and culture.
There are many different Science experiments that we will do during class time. This is a great way to get excited about Science!
4th grade is a classroom that is full of lessons, learning, and laughing!
