A CATHOLIC SCHOOL

Giving Students An Advantage for Life

The mission of St. John Vianney School is the salvation of souls and the formation of saints.

SJV is a safe, dynamic Catholic school where students are surrounded by faculty and staff with one primary goal: to provide an excellent education to students while giving witness to Christ’s love, mercy and compassion. We encourage all students to achieve their maximum potential intellectually, personally, physically and spiritually.

We are blessed with the resources to provide a diverse education that includes many special programs such as art and music, along with class sizes small enough to give each child the attention he or she needs.

Social emotional well being is important in any environment but especially for children who are learning how to interact with one another. At our Catholic School, students learn to apply their faith to their education at an early age.

Elementary School

K-6th Grade

Our Catholic elementary school is known in our community for setting students up for success when they enter in the high school setting. We offer a rigorous academic education for our students where they learn the foundation that they need to grow in their learning for years to come.

Hear from our community

What I love most about SJV are the friendships our kids and our family have built. The people in this community share our values, and that means so much to me. SJV has taught our children so much about themselves and about the Lord. I also want to give a big shoutout to Kidstop. That program truly has my heart. It is so special to have an after school space where they can play, learn, and spend time with their friends. We love SJV, the community, and all the love they give to their youth and families.

St. John Vianney offers something truly special: a close-knit community where every child is known, valued, and supported not just academically, but spiritually and emotionally as well. I love that Finnegan is learning in an environment grounded in faith, kindness, and strong values, with teachers who genuinely care about who he is becoming, not just how he performs in the classroom. The smaller class sizes allow for individualized attention, meaningful relationships, and a strong sense of belonging. I am truly grateful and happy to send Finnegan to St. John Vianney, knowing he is growing in faith, confidence, and character every day.

We know that our kids go to school and are loved. The involvement that families are able to have is amazing. The principal, teachers, office staff, & custodian are THE BEST, welcoming the kids at the door every day and the kids just love all of them!! The best part of it all is that, as a family, we’ve all grown in our Faith, because of what our two youngest have learned at SJV and brought home to share with all of us. Hearing their sweet voices saying their prayers absolutely warms my heart! We LOVE St. John Vianney and are so thankful to be a part of such a special school!

We send our son to SJV because it provides a community that truly feels like family. The shared values, faith-centered education, and close relationships create a supportive environment where  kids are known, cared for, and encouraged to grow both intellectually and spiritually. The sense of belonging, personal attention, and strong moral foundation give us confidence that they are not only learning, but becoming compassionate, grounded individuals surrounded by people who genuinely invest in their well-being We can’t wait for our littles to start their education with SJV next year.

We send our children to St. John Vianney because it feels like home. This isn’t just a school to our family; it’s part of our story. Our children are the third generation to walk these halls, and that means something. Their grandfather sat in these classrooms. My husband, Andrew did too. Now we get to watch our kids grow in the same place that helped shape them. That legacy is very special. We chose St. John Vianney because we want our children to grow not just in knowledge, but in character and faith, in a place where they are safe, supported, and deeply known.

When we were searching for a preschool for our daughter we weren’t sure where we wanted to send her. We knew we wanted somewhere where she would have the opportunity to succeed and also a faith based part of that. We chose SJV and I’m sure glad we did! We love hearing her come home from school and sing about Jesus! I remember one day she said “I’m special just the way I am because that’s how God made me”. My heart just melted. We can’t wait for all the experiences to come and to send our other children when they are old enough!

The school has great academics, which are important because our job as parents, with the help of the school, is to make sure that our children are prepared for whatever God has planned for them.  More importantly, though, we have stayed with SJV because we believe it is a place where our children learn to love God and their neighbor.  They work to live out the mission of the salvation of souls and the formation of saints.   Providing a good Catholic education for our children is worth every penny we have put into tuition.  We are proud to be a part of the SJV community.
