SJV is a safe, dynamic Catholic school where students are surrounded by faculty and staff with one primary goal: to provide an excellent education to students while giving witness to Christ’s love, mercy and compassion. We encourage all students to achieve their maximum potential intellectually, personally, physically and spiritually.
We are blessed with the resources to provide a diverse education that includes many special programs such as art and music, along with class sizes small enough to give each child the attention he or she needs.
Our Programs
Social emotional well being is important in any environment but especially for children who are learning how to interact with one another. At our Catholic School, students learn to apply their faith to their education at an early age.
Our Catholic elementary school is known in our community for setting students up for success when they enter in the high school setting. We offer a rigorous academic education for our students where they learn the foundation that they need to grow in their learning for years to come.

Sending my children to SJV has always been about more than just education, it’s about their faith, their character, and the kind of people they are growing into. From the time my oldest started in first grade, SJV has felt like home. There’s such a genuine warmth there, a feeling that you’re part of one big, loving family.
Over the years, SJV has become such a special place in our lives. My children have formed the sweetest friendships, the kind that make them excited to get up in the morning and go to school. As a mom, there’s nothing more comforting than knowing your children feel safe, supported, and truly happy where they spend their days.
I’ve always believed it’s my responsibility to teach my children about faith, values, and how to be good, kind people. What I love so much is that SJV walks alongside me in that. Their Catholic education isn’t just lessons in a classroom; it’s lived out daily. Watching my sons serve as altar servers and seeing how much they look forward to Mass on Wednesdays fills my heart with so much pride and gratitude. Their love for their faith is growing, and that means everything to me.
Academically, they are challenged in the best way. They are learning discipline, responsibility, and confidence, all things that will give them such a strong start when they move on to high school. I truly believe SJV is helping build a foundation that will carry them through life.
I honestly can’t imagine sending my children anywhere else. SJV has been such a blessing to our family, and I am so deeply grateful to be part of this beautiful, faith-filled community.

We originally chose SJV because of the free all day preschool as we knew Breklyn was so ready for full day schooling. We quickly learned that this was so much more than “just school.” She was able to be 100% herself and sharing her big heart.
When Axton was ready for preschool the next year, we knew SJV was exactly what he needed. We know that our kids go to school and are loved. The involvement that families are able to have is amazing. The principal, teachers, office staff, & custodian are THE BEST, welcoming the kids at the door every day and the kids just love all of them!!
The best part of it all is that, as a family, we’ve all grown in our Faith, because of what our two youngest have learned at SJV and brought home to share with all of us. Hearing their sweet voices saying their prayers absolutely warms my heart!
