A CATHOLIC SCHOOL
Giving Students An Advantage for Life

The mission at St. John Vianney School is to provide a quality Catholic education based on the teachings of Jesus Christ.
SJV is a safe, dynamic Catholic school where students are surrounded by faculty and staff with one primary goal: to provide an excellent education to students while giving witness to Christ’s love, mercy and compassion. We encourage all students to achieve their maximum potential intellectually, personally, physically and spiritually.
We are blessed with the resources to provide a diverse education that includes many special programs such as art and music, along with class sizes small enough to give each child the attention he or she needs.
Our Programs
Social emotional well being is important in any environment but especially for children who are learning how to interact with one another. At our Catholic School, students learn to apply their faith to their education at an early age.
Our Catholic elementary school is known in our community for setting students up for success when they enter in the high school setting. We offer a rigorous academic education for our students where they learn the foundation that they need to grow in their learning for years to come.
Hear from our community
“I would recommend SJV to other families because the atmosphere for learning is unbeatable. Student behavior expectations are clearly communicated during the early years and through out the six grades; therefore, the entire building operates like a well oiled machine. Both the academics and the social aspects all run smoothly! It’s always reassuring to hear our child say, “Thanks for sending me to SJV!”

Prayer is a powerful way to converse with the Lord, and is an effective way to bring communities together. Principal, Sarah Streimer, shares how praying the Rosary daily evolved from a gathering of a handful to the morning routine of the entire St. John Vianney Catholic School community:
“When I first started as a principal, I kept getting the feeling that the students and I should start saying the Rosary before school one morning a week. We would pray for SJV school, students, teachers, staff, and families. It started with a very small group of kids (my own kids and another family). We would meet in the gym and have chairs set up in hopes that more people would join us.
The next year, I decided that when the weather was nice we would gather around the flagpole and say the Rosary. This was a beautiful testament to the community of our peaceful and prayerful start to the day. Eventually, we were able to create an outdoor classroom where we all gather to say the Rosary in the mornings. All our students come, either at 7:40AM or as they are being dropped off for school to say the Rosary. The students take turns saying the decades and it is quite beautiful.”
