My name is Anna Bents and I will be teaching 4^th grade this year at SJV.  I have 20 + years of experience in education, teaching many different grade levels and levels of math.  I received my Bachelor’s degree in K-6 education from Minnesota State University, Mankato with a 5-8 Math and K-12 Reading Specialist licensure.  I earned my Master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction from St. Mary’s University, Winona.  Outside of the classroom I enjoy spending time with my family, husband Ian, daughter Ava (20), and sons Owen (17), and Easton (11).  We love attending all of their activities!  I also love to read, go on walks, and spend time at our family cabin.  I hope to make my classroom a safe and positive learning environment for all of my students.
