My name is Fr. Jeff Dobbs. I attended Immaculate Heart of Mary Seminary in Winona, MN and
during that time earned my Bachelor of Arts degree in Philosophy at St. Mary’s University of
Minnesota. Next, I attended St. Paul Seminary School of Divinity in St. Paul, MN where I earned
my Master of Divinity degree. I was ordained a priest in 2008. As priest I have served in the
following assignments: Parochial Vicar at St. Mary’s Parish in Worthington; Pastor of the Tri-
Parish Cluster of St. Gabriel’s in Fulda, Immaculate Heart of Mary in Currie, and St. Anthony’s
in Westbrook; and Director of Spiritual Life at Immaculate Heart of Mary Seminary in Winona.
While serving as the Director of Spiritual Life at Immaculate Heart of Mary Seminary I also
earned a Licentiate in Sacred Theology (S.T.L) in the New Evangelization from the Pontifical
University of St. Thomas Aquinas in Rome. As of July 1, 2023 I was assigned as Pastor of St.
John Vianney Parish in Fairmont, Sts. Peter and Paul Parish in Blue Earth, and Holy Family
Parish in East Chain. I am very much looking forward to getting to know and work with the
students and the families of the students at St. John Vianney School.
